SIMCOX is a fabric and wallpaper design studio based in Erskineville Sydney, founded by Emelia Simcox in 2014

Our collections have been developed using skills from traditional theatrical scenic painting. Combining time-honoured techniques with a contemporary aesthetic and the latest in digital technology.

The designs are built up of multiple layers of hand painted colour and texture scanned in to create digital compositions, often encompassing a series of drops rather than a traditional tiled repeat. Subtle but complex backgrounds for contemporary spaces—reflecting and enhancing natural light. Our aim is to achieve depth and beauty and something that is easy to live with. Wallpaper gives you the power to radically change an interior with just the thickness of a piece of paper. 

Our Non Woven “paste the wall” substrate and is easy to hang, and to take down as it is “strippable”. It is non vinyl allowing it to breathe which helps to prevent mould or moisture. This product is currently revolutionising the wallpaper industry.
